Otaniemi orienteering AKA Otasuunnistus

Otakut will once again participate in Otaniemi orienteering by holding a 'control point', in which the teams will complete a given task. Anyone not currently participating in any team, is free to come and assist in managing, organizing and enjoying the control point. On the spot, there usually has been a BBQ option and I doubt this year will be any different. As for other entertainment, the Otakut will be livening up the neighbourhood with some appropriate music.

Task 2010

The same as last year. The teams will first disguise themselves as ninjas using instant-ninja method. This involves clever use of black tee-shirt provided by control point. Afterwards, the team conducts an attack on given targets using shurikens...made out of 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 inch diskettes. Method of attack is free, but should fit the proper ninja style.

Where

The control point will be held at pavement near Ossinlampi. The date and time are Thursday to Friday (2.-3.9.2010) from 1800 till 2200. The organizing of the control point will start at least an hour earlier, so if you wish to help, let us know or navigate to the given location and hopefully find us at work.
