Tentacle Monster

What?

A self built game controller. Primarily used in various events where the players come in groups of four or more.

The idea

Videogames are hard and require the player to press multiple buttons at once or in complex orders. This sheer number of possible button combinations can easily overwhelm a small student's head. The Tentacle Monster controller eliminates this problem by giving each player only one button to worry about. As such, each player only has one job! How hard can it be?

Implementation

The Tentacle Monster, which gets its name from its looks, divides a single game controller into eight individual color coded buttons to be divided among players. To ensure playing isn't boring and that each player gets to play equal amounts, the device has a timed alarm bell. Once it rings the color coded buttons are rearranged giving each player a different task to worry about.
